History.
Lana Katherine Granger was born May 20th, 1986 in Yonkers, NY to Cynthia; a nurse and Joseph Granger; and Estate Lawyer. She was the last and second girl to the small family of five. Before her, was her brother, James and older sister, Victoria. As expected, Lana was somewhat spoiled being the youngest which left small sibling rivalry and jealousy between the three of them. Lana grew up in a normal household. They weren't poor and they weren't wealthy either. They lived comfortable in their two parent home. Dinners were spent around the table, holidays and vacations together, and summers were spent mostly outside with friends, family and neighbors in a somewhat closer knit street they lived on.
School for Lana came easy, she didn't find the studies hard, yet they weren't too easy. Throughout school she was an average student who excelled in English and History. She only understood science and math enough to get passing grades in the class. Sports-wise, Lana played soccer throughout grade school and high school, as well as playing basketball in the wintertime. Being well rounded she was also on student counsel and several other student based groups that she enjoyed being in. Lana was one of those girls that always had the same boyfriend from freshman to senior, decent grades, and something classy about herself that made girls jealous. She rarely went to parties finding them boring even though she did, of course, experiment with drugs, alcohol, and sex.
Graduating; college was definitely the plan afterward. After spring of figuring out where she wanted to go. Deciding on the University of Massachusetts she started out with a major in English and then changed her mind by the end of her freshman year to Psychology. Graduating in the Spring of 2010, Lana moved back home for a short while only to find herself bored that she was there alone with her parents. Her mother decided to criticize about not being married and having children yet like her older siblings and made arrangements to move down to South Carolina with her sister and their childhood friends which was also Victoria's new husband.
Personality.
Even as a child Lana has a giant heart which is good and also bad. She always wants to help everyone in need constantly donating to causes that she feels are good. She loves to be charitable and even so she loves to help out the people in her neighborhood as well. The downfall to being as helpful as she is toward people is the fact that many would take advantage of her, make up stories and take her hard earned money that she feels is owed to them. Most times she ends up finding out much later when there is nothing she can do about it, yet she still has that glimmer of trust in everyone.
Lana has a bubbly personality and is most often described as "miss optimistic" since she always tries to find the good in people and situations many would see as the end of the world. Though, with that kind of mentality Lana is often naive to the things around her and not realizing when she's being used or even preyed on, in a sense. It leads to most of her romantic relationships to be short or almost nonexistent since she is almost oblivious to a male being attracted to her. This often leads her to grow frustrated with her love life, mostly when she's pmsing. However, when she is attracted to a male she falls head over heals into an almost a middle school romance which is most likely annoying yet she refuses to tell them how she really feels.
Rarely though, but Lana does get angry. When she does its something that shocks many that witness. She is one of those girls that hold everything in until a certain breaking point and then the victim that popped the cork will get everything thrown at her/him. She doesn't mean to do it, but for some reason once she breaks there is no stopping her until it is all out. Mostly she just yells and at times throws objects (that can rarely harm you like pillows, or magazines) at the person she is targeting. After she calms down she almost always apologizes and feels like she needs to make it up in some way or another.
